I got to know the existence of kigurumi around 2016, but only eventually dived into the hobby in 2019. My early shells were heavily influenced by MMD models and are made of FDM PLA.

I started designing shells more closely resembling original in-game designs around 2021. First prototype was a Raen face #4. Later that year, I also made a few tan-skin Xaela #4 before I completely revised my workflow.

Improvements were made: I switched to zbrush for sculpting, resin printed front shells, and the first batch of resin-based lizard remakes was completed mid-2022. The Raen and Xaela #4 remakes have been my favorites; the Raen #4 is one of the oldest masks that I still kept in my inventory, and the Xaela #1 featured below is my newest make.
Over the past years, I also worked on other in-game races and non-ffxiv characters of my liking. A lot of my OCs end up being my dress-up alibis.

I routinely post new pictures and progress peeks at my twitter and instagram.
I have been making cosplay props since 2014, and I started making my own kigurumi masks since 2019.My masks and props start with digital models. My modeling software of choice is zbrush, while some structural components were designed and integrated with Fusion360. The finished models are 3D printed either in house for prototyping or professionally outsourced for production.I use a mix of SLA UV resin and FDM PETG prints in my makes. SLA resin prints are of great detail but generally more fragile and more expensive, so I limit the use of resin to front shell only. Back shells are FDM printed.I do use airbrush more often these days, but I still prefer the three-can process of filler-primer, skin-colored premix paint, and a matte top coat to seal the makeup. Makeups for my current masks can use a range of different paint types including watercolor (顔彩), pastels, alcoholic markers, and colored pencils. The scales on older masks are from Meduusat Studio, which are made of molded silicone. The scales of my newer makes are sculpted directly onto the shell. Horns are 3d-printed and either covered with epoxy filler, or layered with vinyl scale pieces to achieve realistic look. Ears for the miqo'te and viera masks are made by myselfHere's a list of my favorite supplies/services:
- SUNLU PETG (FDM filaments)
- Rust-Oleum 2in1 Filler & Sandable Primer
- Montana Gold Acrylic Spray Paint
- Mr. Super Clear Matte (UV cut)
- Craftcloud/3dpnxt (SLA print outsourcing)模型塗料混色(Color blend preview)
